The Municipal Welfare Enterprise of Aigialeia, in collaboration with the Scenic Action and Speech Lab of the Department of Theatre Studies at the University of Patras, led by Maria Fragki, Ph.D, Theatrelogist – Director, and the Black Theatre of Patras by Kostas Makris, have successfully collaborated under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. The collaboration pertains to the program “Carvings and colors with music,” which also includes the operation of the Karagiozis museum: The House of Karagiozis.
The museum’s inauguration took place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, with a crowd of people of all ages and also present were artists from the field of Greek shadow theater, academics, and visitors from Athens and Patras.
