Ms. E. Halivopoulou, is invited as an Artist – in- Residence at the Theatre Laboratory of Drama and Speech, University of Patras, Department of Theatre Studies, during June 20th to July 1st, 2022. The Theatre Laboratory of Drama and Speech is organizing the third international Conference on “The Odin Theatre and the Anthropology of Theatre in Greece” to be implemented in the city of Patras on 17-18 March 2023, in collaboration with The Center of Theatre Anthropology OMMA Studio in Herakleion, Crete, and the Municipality of Patras. Letter of appreciation

7/18/2022 Athens

Dear Dr. Savrami,

I was elated to experience the hospitality and collaboration during the Artist – in – Residence program of the Theatre Laboratory of Drama and Speech, at the University of Patras, Department of Theatre Studies, between June 17th – July 1st, 2022.

During the Residency, I conducted research on an interdisciplinary project between visual art and theater, and I collaborated with Dr. Maria Frangi and Ms. Despina Georgakopoulou. We will continue our work, and the goal is to present its outcome in the international conference “The Odin Theatre and Theatre Anthropology in Greece” in March 2023, which you currently organize. The 3 rd International Conference of Theatre Anthropology is co-organized with the Center for Theatre Anthropology, Heraklion, Crete, Fondazione Barba Varley, and the Museum of Science and Technology, University of Patras.

I would like to thank you once more for the wonderful opportunity, which structures the beginning of creative exchanges between the two institutions.

Sincerely,

Effie Halivopoulou
